Tasting Notes

This wine discloses a glistening, straw yellow hue and explosion of fresh citrus fruit on the nose. The palate is mouthwatering, clean and direct with a delicately spicy character complemented by menthol notes which impart exceptional freshness and length.

The Classique white makes the perfect partner for fish and seafood. It is ready to be enjoyed in its youth but can be kept for up to five years after bottling.


The grapes are received via gravity, sorted, then the whole-berries are pneumatically pressed. Cold stabilisation, indigenous yeasts to ensure a spontaneous fermentation in thermo-regulated inox tanks, maturation on the fine lees, then bottled from spring onwards.


La Dame de Châtenoy

Pale hue with silvery tints and an intense nose of white flowers, lemon and grapefruit. The palate is fresh, lively, fat and incredibly rich.

The mineral and saline finish makes this wine well suited to summer aperitifs and dishes such as a scallop and mango carpaccio or a selection of goat’s cheeses. La Dame de Châtenoy can be kept for five to ten years depending on the vintage.


Selected from grapes with a high level of maturity, harvested and then sorted, whole-berry pneumatic pressing, cold stabilisation, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in thermo-regulated inox tanks, matured on full lees, with a regular stirring over 10 months, then bottled in the Autumn.

Les Barres reveals a lemon-yellow hue and, with its heady aromas of exotic fruit and beeswax, promises to be a journey for the senses. This is powerful, aromatic and well-balanced wine with excellent tension and a smooth texture that coats the palate.

A touch of minerality lingers on the elegant finish making this wine well suited to fish and creamy poultry dishes.


The vine stocks come from a «selection massale*» done from our own nursery. The old vines selected were planted by Pierre-Alexandre CLEMENT in 1927. *The term "massal selection" refers to the traditional method of selecting suitable reproductive material from the best plants. Situation : Limestone-clay (Kimmeridgian marls) soils. South west facing. Grapes are hand-harvested at their full ripening. The grapes are received via gravity, sorted, then the whole-berries are pneumatically pressed. Cold stabilisation, indigenous yeasts to ensure a spontaneous fermentation, then maturing in huge oak casks (40 Hl) for 18 months.


Pierre Alexandre

Tasting Notes

The cuvée Pierre Alexandre takes us off the beaten track in search of a new expression of the Sauvignon from Menetou-Salon. It offers a bright, straw yellow hue and nose of white flowers, acacia honey, ripe tropical fruit and a hint of vanilla.


This is a specially selected and prepared parcel, the grapes are sorted and harvested when over ripe, pressed pneumatically as whole berries, fermented and matured one year in new barrels, bottled in winter.
